XR-1 is our high surface area grade. It can be used as a conductive additive in a variety of matrices (PA-6, EPDM, FKM, FFKM). Resistivity values as low as 2 Ohm.cm can be reached without impacting viscosity as much as the competition. When compounded for tire applications, XR-1 reduces the Payne effect (by 20%) without compromising safety or performance.

X1 is our customers’ favorite choice for high abrasion resistance in tread applications. X1 couples the extended longevity of the compound with a remarkable improvement of both Rolling Resistance Coefficient and grip.

X3 is our best grade when it comes to processability and finishing. It has been used successfully in both Elastomer and Thermoplastic applications when safety requirements demand for conductivity in the ESD regime.

X5 is our most flexible grade. It can be applied in a variety of matrices and applications when a low hysteresis carbon is needed. X5 is the best starting point to get familiar with CarbonX features in applications such as Hoses, Seals, Tires, and Belts.

  • X7 is delivered in pelletized form in 20kg PP bags.

X7 is our go to grade when compounding with thermoplastics. It can impact reinforcement to TP even at high loadings. Conductivity in the EMI shielding region can be achieved. X7 shows also outstanding performances in rubber application that demands for optimal compression set.
